In 1908, Marcus Mills Converse, who previously worked in Boston Rubber Shoe Company, specializing in the production of winter shoes, founded his own company Converse Rubber Shoe Company in Malden, Massachusetts. At first the main products were family shoes for summer and winter time. Two years later, the company produced more than 4 million pairs of shoes every day.
Sports shoes appeared in the assortment of the company only after 1915, after the distribution of shoes for tennis. Today sneakers "with the asterisk" by Converse are known throughout the world and are popular not only among young people but also among active people who prefer comfort.
The store of branded shoes opened its doors in the shopping center «Outlet Village» (Moscow). Engineers of the company Element Store have equipped the entrance group of the store with antitheft system Nedap Fleureas.
